This is the major project I've been working on, I finally finished inking it today (the moon to be exact, I added it as an after thought).
So this was inspired by Kawaiinot.com and Twinkie-chan, it's also the inspiration of the onigiri amigurumi I made earlier.
I'll color this with colored pencils later, finally putting Topaz's Prismas that she sent me to good use. In the mean time, like all of my lineart, you're more than welcome to color it (that's why I submit it). Just remember to send me a link. ^^ I tride to clean it up as best as I could incase someone wanted to (or if I wanted to later on).
Here we have an assortment of Japanese snack food having fun outside:
-Two lines of mochi floating from the sky. I meant to have it allude to the story of the rabbit making mochi on the moon, but I thought it might not be clear enough, so I added the moon.
-A dango forest that was a pain in the ass to ink.
-An icy hill top populated by mochi icecream.
-Bellow that are some more sweeter foods such as pocky and cone shaped chocolates.
-On the next little hill are croquettes sun bathing, the one that looks distressed is meant to be sunburned. They're also accompanied by takoyaki.
-At the base of the hills are meat buns and onigiri.
-And finally, there is a sushi lake where the decorative hot dog octopuses like to play.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
